Review ALL of your security settings on LinkedIn Pay special attention to these settings:

"Where You Are Signed In"
"Devices that Remember Your Password"
β€œEnable 2 -Factor Verification”

See what happened when I checked my β€œWhere You Are Signed In”! There was a user signed in from Virginia that was NOT ME! The good news is that I had enabled 2-Factor Verification which prevented the actual log-in. You can dodge a lot of potential hacks just by enabling this setting!

Did you know...that only 1st Level Connections can see your Contact Info on your Profile?

Be INTENTIONAL about whom you want to have your email address, home address, or phone number.

Best Practice would suggest leaving it out of your profile's Summary or About Section since this can be seen by anyone. Of course, if you decide to put any personal information in other sections of your Professional Profile, that’s fine as long as it is a conscious decision.
